How many codes can a Rust code lock have?

10,000 — every 4-digit combination from 0000 to 9999. But real codes aren't random: a big share of locks use a small set of memorable numbers, which is why guessing in frequency order pays off.

What's the fastest way to guess a code lock?

Bring friends and never guess the same code twice. Frequency order front-loads the likely codes, and splitting the list means a five-person squad moves five times as fast. Wrong guesses shock the guesser, so squads rotate and bring meds.

Do squad members waste tries on the same codes?

Never — each raider is dealt an exclusive block. If someone goes AFK, the owner reclaims their untried codes and the pool redistributes.
